Amélie Laurence Fortin | Exhibition fall 2026
This fall, Sporobole is proud to present the grand premiere of Amélie Laurence Fortin’s latest exhibition!
Following her residency as part of the Chantier IA-Cohorte sonore program in 2025, Amélie Laurence Fortin continued her research in 2026 in preparation for a solo exhibition to be presented at Sporobole from October 2 to November 27.
Through consultations and meetings with scientific research groups studying non-human collective intelligence—specifically that of bees—she has gathered knowledge, information, and data. Using this material, she is working closely with our developer Renaud Gervais to develop a generative system that translates behavior into sound, which will allow her to create a spatial soundscape that is an integral part of the work.
The start of the fall season will be an opportunity to discover a brand-new installation by Amélie Laurence Fortin that combines sound, sculpture, and video—highlighting, in particular, our relationship with the unique intelligence of bees and what it can teach us about our own relationship with the human, technological, and natural worlds.
More information about the exhibition will follow in September.
