Mathieu Arsenault
Mathieu Arsenault is an electronic musician and audiovisual artist based in Montreal. His work probes the imperfections of the human body in an era of technological perfection. He is particularly interested in the integration and transformation of the human voice and gesture within digital arts. Initially recognized as the singer for the electronic rock band Technical Kidman, his solo practice now spans audiovisual performances, albums, and experimental films. His work has been showcased at various festivals, including Mutek Montréal, Wavelength (Canada), Sound/Image (UK), International Film Festival Rotterdam, Festival International des Films sur l’Art (Canada), Iceland Airwaves, and Suoni Per Il Popolo (Canada).
