Milutin Gubash
Born, in Novi Sad (Serbia), Milutin Gubash lives in Montréal since 2005. The artist’s work has been shown many times in the province of Québec, in Canada, in the United-States and in Europe. His practice integrate photography, video and performances which regularly involves his family and friends. Gubash uses simple means and emulates often comical gestures. Through tautological events (such as his father is “his father”, his work is “work”, he himself), he questions the conventional social and domestic roles and inquire the relations to own identity and the living environment.
