Marie-Claude Bouthillier

Marie-Claude Bouthillier holds a Master’s degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Since the late 1980s, his work has been regularly exhibited in museums, artist-run centres and galleries, including the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, Galerie Trois Points and Mercer Union. In 2007 she completed an in situ project for Artefact 2007 on Île Ste-Hélène, exhibited at Galerie Joyce Yahouda in Montreal and participated in the Baie-Saint-Paul International Symposium of Contemporary Art. She designs exhibition projects on occasion, including Le Tarot de Montréal, which brought together 22 artists at the Maison de la culture du Plateau Mont-Royal in the spring of 2010. She has just completed a production residency at the Vermont Studio Center and will exhibit in November at the Optica Center. Marie-Claude Bouthillier lives and works in Montreal.
