Baron Lanteigne

Baron Lanteigne hijacks digital technologies to reveal their materiality and potential. The results of this research take the form of sculptural installations which, like portals, open in unison onto interconnected virtual worlds. The essence of his work lies in his experience and numerous collaborations with various Internet communities.

His work is part of online collections and events such as The Wrong Biennale, Real-fake.org, Electrofringe, SPAMM, Glitch Artist Collective, FeltZine, MoCDA, and several others. It has been featured in various art venues worldwide, including the Ludwig Museum in Budapest (HU), the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris (FR), the Centre des Arts in Enghien-les-Bains (FR), Gwangju Media Platform (KR), Kunstmuseum in Bonn (BE), as well as having been shown in several digital arts events such as ISEA 2023, Mapping Festival (CH), Mirage Festival (FR), MUTEK (CA; JP), Dutch Design Week (NL), Sónar+D (ES), CPH:DOX (DK), and the 6th International Digital Art Biennial ELEKTRA (CA).
