He collaborates as a playwright and director with several cultural organizations, including the Petit Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Sherbrooke (Manuel d&#8217;instructions pour cesser de grandir, Nos petits doigts), the Centre culturel de l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke (Cab-Lab, Un discours! Un discours!), the Centre des Arts de la Sc\u00e8ne Jean-Besr\u00e9 (Petit Fun Palace &#8211; in co-production with La Serre arts vivants and OFFTA), and Productions Traces et Souvenances (Reinventing the Beast, Ventre-Ville).\u00a0 He co-founded and directed the now-defunct theater Turcs Gobeurs d&#8217;Opium (Caribou, Ce qu&#8217;on enterre, Raconter le feu aux for\u00eats), and was also artistic director of Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Double signe from 2018 to 2021 (Stallone, Nos coeurs remplis d&#8217;ur\u00e9thane). Some of his productions have been presented at the Festival du Jamais Lu, Zones Th\u00e9\u00e2trale and Dramaturgies en dialogue. Committed to the next generation, he has taught theater at the Coll\u00e8ge du Mont Notre-Dame and at the S\u00e9minaire de Sherbrooke college. He teaches at the Faculty of Education of the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke as a lecturer. His new play entitled S&#8217;effondrent les vid\u00e9oclubs will be performed in the spring of 2022 by La Seizi\u00e8me theater in Vancouver. In residence at Sporobole, the artist proposes new explorations around the <em>Sainte-Johanne-des-Calvettes<\/em> project in the company of about fifteen creators and actors from the Eastern Townships.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andr\u00e9 G\u00e9lineau is an established artist in the Eastern Townships.
