P\u00e9pite & Jos\u00e8phe is an artist duo formed in 2016 by Vincent Biron-Chalifour and Jos\u00e8phe Landreville. Vincent holds a BFA in photography from Concordia University, while Jos\u00e8phe has a master’s degree in visual and media arts from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. Their work has been featured in solo exhibitions in Montreal (Atelier Circulaire, Galerie B-312), Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie (Expression, Zocalo), and Winnipeg (La Maison des artistes visuels francophones).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They have also participated in group exhibitions and artist residencies in various cities across Quebec, including Montreal, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Dunham, Rouyn-Noranda, and soon, Cookshire-Eaton and Alma. Among their distinctions, the duo received the Art and Environment Award (2024) from the Conseil de la Culture de l\u2019Estrie and grants from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The duo was selected for the Photographic Mission in the Easter Townships and will present their research in the summer of 2025 at Sporobole (Sherbrooke) and in Gasp\u00e9 Peninsula during the Rencontres on Tour.
