Nathalie Plaat

Nathalie Plaat is a clinical psychologist, author and a master’s degree teacher at the CERC of the University of Sherbrooke where she is also pursuing doctoral studies. Her work focuses on the evacuation of existential questions in the practice of medicine. Faced with our contemporary psychological suffering, she offers a reflection on the margins of the discourse dominated by a pathologization of our human states. In our paper, she offers a “Duty of the Heart” which invites readers to a story and a dialogue on different themes linked to mental health. (Bio taken from Le Devoir paper)
