Matthias Göttfert
Matthias Göttfert was born in Gmunden in 1985. After completing his training in interior and furniture design, he studied at the Vienna University of Technology and later at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Gottfert is also skilled in several other trades, including architectural design, carpentry, leatherwork, model making, bag crafting, fair construction, grave digging, and locksmithing. He has experience in managing festivals and artistic associations and is an excellent observer of human activity. Since 2014, he has been working as an independent artist, focusing his practice on objects and installation. He lives and works in Linz, Austria.
